For me and my type of kayak waves around 2 m are rather big. It was a funny day at the kayak club in Denmark, as you can see. My preferred kayak is a Tracer. It's rather easy to row but not so good in big waves from behind - you recognize that by not having force on the rudder at incoming waves from behind, and the kayak easily turn parallel on the waves, and that is the problem!
