Chile: National Park Puyehue [poo-jaa-way], December 1999
In the South of Chile I visited a nice National Park - famous for the views to volcanoes. It was fantastic to see the nicely snow marbled volcano Puyehue. I meet a German Team - and went ahead of them alone. Later on I came to a point very difficult to navigate - actually I got lost in the night in the rain forest. I had some hard time in the very dense bamboo forest - that's an other story.

The views towards other ice capped volcanoes were tremendous - awsome in the clear air. I guess that I had views up to 75-100km that day.
